Had excellent hospitality from the Welsh Assembly Government this week. I have to say Cardiff is a little bit brilliant. Their National Assembly Government (NAG? surely not) is open to all so I popped along to the Senedd and went to see a Committee meeting taking place. So open and friendly! The building was also built with sustainability in mind and it's super modern. There happened to be an igloo inside as well, of course. It was a company called
Dark Sky Wales who do workshops for kids. The inside of the igloo had a display which showed the workings of the solar system. At least I think so, sadly I was still in the meeting when it was going on. There was also a display in the Cardiff Visitor Centre, or 'The Tube', about how to live your life more sustainably. I learnt that the average Cardiffian (don't quote me on that moniker, I think I made it up) uses 3 times their share of the world's resources. Deep. Great that they're trying to educate their schoolchildren and visitors though.
Anyhoo, I have a certain football match to get to and I'm venturing on probably my last long ride tomorrow so I have to start drinking early so I start sobering up early. That's how it works right?
