Pig Love at UK Aware

UK Aware was fun today (expo on 'ideas for greener living'). Bumped into my friend Alex who's promoting the film Pig Business http://www.pigbusiness.co.uk/ It's about factory farms and their production of pig meat. Pig fans and animal lovers can check it out on youtube. I made the error of not taking a picture at her stall (must learn to think more blogger) but this is her with Will when she was raising money for Medecins Sans Frontiers earlier this year. She is clearly good through and through so you owe it to her to learn about the little oinkers.
At the current EJF pop-up shop in Carnaby St I also met Anna of http://www.ananichoola.co.uk/ who 'bring you riding style that you have never dreamed of' and have a range of recycled items and bamboo tops. Excellent news in my continued quest for non-horrific cycle clothing (I'll write a post about padded shorts soon, you can look forward to it). She's brilliantly formed an all woman cycle team as well. I believe they are now officially 'mules' for http://www.mulebar.com/ who were also at UK Aware where we stocked up on a box of the bars to get us through the sportive tomorrow. I'm looking forward to the excited anticipation I will feel tomorrow morning. At the moment I feel nothing. Except horror.
